This new portal introduces visitors to a choice of greener holidays in hotels genuinely committed to eco-friendly practices, with tips and offers that reflect a sustainable hospitality. In this online window, only tourist businesses that are committed to the protection of the environment and adopt the measures of the Legambiente Turismo Decalogue. A more sustainable holiday starts with breakfast including a choice of local and organic food, may continue with a walk or a bike ride to discover local nature and heritage and conclude with some local shopping. Organic dishes or typical recipes are available at lunch or dinner, sometimes with vegetables directly form the orchard … The eco-friendly holiday portal starts in Emilia Romagna, as a guide for both tourists caring for the environment and tourists who may want to (re)discover an Italian-style relaxing holiday at the Adriatic Sea.
