Green Key
From youth hostel to 4 star hotel in Denmark

Businesses that have been awarded The Green Key live up to a long list of requirements. These requirements consist of, among others, environmental management, staff and guest involvement, supplier demands and specific demands on energy, water, waste and cleaning agents, etc.

The Green Key has been awarded to a broad variety of establishments, such has hotels, conference facilities, holiday centres, summer houses, campsites and youth hostels. Green Key now also offers restaurants and sport facilities. The Green Key is represented in Denmark and since recently also in Sweden and Estonia. In 2003 Green Key merged with La Clef Verte.
